Obsession, firm grasp of the obvious

I took some time out this week to work from the figure. The loss of fluency, hand, eye and material is always a stick in the eye. It is the thing I most dislike about teaching... I don't have the time for my work and I lose the connection to the materials and the direct process of painting.
